I recently starting using our "girls" in my jewelry displays, at our shows again, My husband designs all the girls, cuts them out and I paint them, we used to have about 12 for the show displays, more for store windows.
Recently we lived in the Midwest for a short stint of time, our daughter Emily, had a store front there that we worked out of (this is where " The Lost Mermaid " was born). The store was housed in an old bank building on the main street of town. There were about 9 large windows that wrapped around the building, as it sat on the corner. For the new season we put different girls in every window. It was really a great effect, we could watch customers following the windows down the side of the building back across the front. Some of Sam's women lead a vicarious life style, and I am bring them back out of the store room for sale, new one's of course. The basic girl is $35. and can be custom ordered
